Enneagram 1s - Created to Desire, Called to Delight Series
DESIRE -- To encounter the moral, upright and accurate character of others and themselves, where All is well and GOOD in an unblemished, ideal and truly divine world.
DOUBT -- Their own goodness, (internal weight of ethical failure). Honest feedback for improved character (receive as shame and/or guilt). Others’ predispositions and processes. With the daunting pursuit of principled improvement comes the painful queries. What if I’m not good enough? What if I don’t fit in? Could I be criticized?
DRINK -- from the well of certainty. God’s promises. God’s judgements. God’s redemptive plan. A personal engagement of purpose and power, knowing whose you are (He declares you good) and what is yours to carry. (He’s got the whole world in His hands!)
DELIGHT -- In the lightness that appears, being fully human, fully accepted, fully loved, being able to freely extend kindness and compassion, not the bondage of correction. To embody and express God’s original connection to His design, convicted in making the world a much better place. Where healing, wholeness and humanity are very good!
