Enneagram 7s - Created to Desire, Called to Delight Series
DESIRE -- To experience life to its entirety (delight, connection) where ordinary opportunities become extraordinary occasions (unlimited) and individual needs (grief and gladness) are supported (allowed, affirmed) in the true recognition of reality, that the patient push to Christ-centred purpose, (fulfillment) prevails over the primal pull to self-centred potential (futility).
DOUBT -- Their own feelings of pain, sadness (denial).Their dependence on others (vulnerability).The present (future can be better). Slowness, stillness (uncomfortable). The validity of restraint, (not freedom). Under the whirlwind of excitement surfaces the internal fear. Is it really all up to me? Are avoidance and distraction my only outs? Will anyone really show up just for me?
DRINK -- From the Divine well of Living Water that never runs dry (not a broken cistern) but the certainty of provision that will quench ALL your thirsts for MORE. Rest (not run) and dip (not dive) into the here and now (faith), releasing all you ever wanted to the God who is all you ever needed.
DELIGHT -- In a new revelation of design, where freedom is not so much about doing what you like, but about doing what is right. Where learning to live in the darkness as well as the light is not the end of you, but the beginning of a NEW you. Where ultimately JOY is not an external pursuit but an internal fruit. Go and spread the goodness of life. Cultivating communities of connection and celebration, your truly God given gifts to us all!
