Enneagram 5s - Created to Desire, Called to Delight Series
DESIRE -- To risk knowing that the rule of competency, capability and emotions is not a real refuge but a true opportunity to deep, pleasing and personal connections (authentic understanding) in a world that is often both intrusive and overwhelming.
DOUBT -- Their own needs, (feelings) presence, (here and now) and participation (dismissive).The relational process of dependence and interdependence (integration). Looming under their calm demeanour is the anxious unknown to these daunting questions. What if I can’t figure it all out? What then? More research? Does requiring support (admission) create a hindrance or hardship for others? Who can I entrust with the emerging, expressive me?
DRINK -From the overflowing well of God’s grace-filled abundance. An invitation to drink freely and not drown. To create cleverly and not crush. To face fascination and not fear. To celebrate progress, not just planning. Where “limitless” floods life’s random channels and release immerses relief.
DELIGHT -- In the fact that You ARE enough (not just” have”), You are fully KNOWN (not just what you know) and that You BELONG (it’s ok to bend and break). From God’s design of receiving; with resolve, You generously offer insights, thoughtfulness and stillness to those around you and marvel at TRUE WISDOM; what you still don’t know.
Rom. 11:33 - "Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!"
Ps. 118:8 - "It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man."
