Enneagram 6s - Created to Desire, Called to Delight Series
DESIRE -- To live in peaceful alignment ( harmonizing the pendulum of opposites); the assurance of and hope in a sovereign God. Where His stability sustains and supports life’s uncertainties (no guarantee on outcomes). True existence is no longer a test, but a testimony to divine intervention.
DOUBT -- God’s affection (faithfulness), themselves and others (second-guessing). Authority (suspicious). Change itself (unpredictable). Amongst the competing inner chatter comes even more ambiguity. Can I trust myself to stand for what I believe? Will things really be ok? ( visible or hidden threats). Will I have others to assist me?
DRINK -- From the well of the Alpha (Beginning) and Omega (End) who supports and steers you for everything in between (secure). From Jehovah-raah (My Shepherd), whose voice you discern deeply and whose presence is a passionate, peaceful pursuit. (seen and safe). Where God doesn’t offer just answers but HIMSELF!
DELIGHT -- In the ”Here and Now” surrender to“What Was” and seek soundly “What is to come”. Where paralysis turns to permission; from what is probable to what is possible (perspective). Where the chasm of confusion turns to clarity (courage) and where questionable fear turns to unquestionable faith (trust). Your tender strength gladdens those around you with genuine relationships, grounded resilience and guided risks. Truly generous guardians.
Ps. 4:8 - "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, For you alone, O LORD, make me to dwell in safety."
Rom. 8:38-39 - "For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any created thing will be able to separate me from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our LORD."
