Created to Awaken, Called to Abide Series
AWAKEN -- I am precious for God sought me as His prize (TREASURED)
ASK -- Who am I when imposing my views, denying emotional needs,(cold- hearted) and exhibiting impatience, are ongoing actions? What internal messages have a bearing on such behaviour (weakness)? Is there a deficit to consider (safety)? How does intensity and/or vengeance falsely guard that area?
Moses was a leader called by God who struggled at times with desires and actions. He questioned His role and God’s directions a few times, which cost him considerably. He kills an Egyptian (IMPULSE) and later lashes out in anger on a rock (FRUSTRATION). Moses acts with force and control, yet invisible is his need to protect his people, a burden he carries to make things right immediately, and the fear that if he doesn’t act, no one will (JUSTICE). God doesn’t reject Moses' strength but redirects it. "I will be with you". Leadership through dependence and power expressed through obedience. Moses had to learn that God was the true defender. ”The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still”. Exodus 2-4,14:14 Num.20 (CHAMPION)
TRUTH
ALIGN -- Where belovedness diminishes invincibility. (I am redeemed).
I am enough (I am safe), I do enough (I am wanted), I am more than enough. (I am gentle, I am held).
I engage with trust and allow innocence to surface. (I loosen defensiveness, I am courageously loved).
SACRED BENEVOLENCE
ADORE -- Where God is a true, strong tower
I accept God’s loving kindness
I allow God’s guiding spirit
I admire God’s ultimate plan and timing
MERCY
ABIDE -- Where “Christ in me” triumphs. (SURRENDER)
Who I am becoming…(day by day). Graciously DEPENDENT!

Ps.46:1 - "God is our refuge and strength."
